The SBB Research Group Foundation is proud to announce the continued success of Ebun Adebesin after receiving the STEM Scholarship in 2024. The $2,500 award empowers students to create value for society by pursuing higher learning through interdisciplinary combinations of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Ebun Adebesin received the SBB Research Group Foundation STEM Scholarship during his first year as a graduate student at Northeastern University to pursue a degree in Information Systems.
Since receiving the scholarship, Ebun was named Graduate Student of the Year at Northeastern and developed a paper on Machine Learning/AI in early detection of disease that will soon be published. He hopes to become a product manager, and eventually to give back to his community as an entrepreneur and philanthropist.
“We admire Ebun’s commitment to giving back. We are proud to support someone with such a strong sense of communal responsibility," said Matt Aven, co-founder and board member of the SBB Research Group Foundation.
The SBB Research Group Foundation is honored to have played a role in Ebun’s success. We look forward to continuing to support outstanding students in STEM and helping them achieve their full potential.
